ABOUT THE PLATFORM
THE BEHAVIORAL LAYER VOLLEYBALL WAS MISSING.
Volleyball.net was built on a simple observation: every major sport has invested heavily in physical analytics — speed, strength, vertical jump, hitting percentage. But the coaches who build championship teams know the real differentiator isn't physical. It's behavioral.
The PACE Decision Engine™ is a 40-question behavioral assessment designed specifically for competitive volleyball. It measures four dimensions — Performance, Attitude, Cooperation, and Endurance — and maps each athlete to one of 12 named archetypes that correspond directly to volleyball positions and team roles.
The platform is free for athletes and coaches. The club directory lists over 1,000 clubs across the United States, sourced from real competitive data. Coach tools include position scripts, lineup simulation, team builder, and a coach inbox for reviewing athlete results.
FOUNDING STORY
THE PROBLEM
Coaches were making lineup and recruiting decisions based on physical stats alone — ignoring the behavioral patterns that actually predict team chemistry and performance under pressure.
THE INSIGHT
Behavioral science already had the tools. What was missing was a volleyball-specific framework that translated those tools into actionable archetypes coaches could use on the court.
THE BUILD
The PACE Decision Engine™ was developed with 40 validated questions across four behavioral dimensions. Each question was designed to surface how athletes respond to pressure, change, teammates, and execution.
THE PLATFORM
Volleyball.net launched as the free home for PACE — combining the assessment with a national club directory, position training, and coach tools in one integrated platform.

COLOR USAGE GUIDE
Use Victory Red for Performance-dominant content, competitive messaging, and P-archetype labels.
Never use as a generic error or warning color — it will conflict with P-trait branding.
Use Court Gold for Attitude-dominant content, energy-focused messaging, and A-archetype labels.
Never use as a generic highlight or accent color outside PACE Attitude contexts.
Use Success Green for Cooperation-dominant content, team-first messaging, and C-archetype labels.
Never use as a generic success or confirmation color — it will conflict with C-trait branding.
Use Volleyball Blue for Endurance-dominant content, analytical messaging, E-archetype labels, and primary CTAs.
Never use purple (#8B5CF6) as a substitute for the E trait — Volleyball Blue is the only canonical E color.
