Is PACE Certification free?
Yes — all three certification levels are free during the beta period. We'll announce pricing before the beta ends, and early applicants will be grandfathered in.
Do I need to be a current Volleyball.net user?
No. You can apply for certification without an existing account. We'll create your coach profile as part of the onboarding process.
How long does certification take?
Level 1 takes approximately 3 hours and is fully self-paced. Level 2 adds a live session (6 hours total). Master Coach is a cohort-based 12-hour program with scheduled sessions.
What's the difference between the coach directory listing and PACE Certification?
The coach directory is open to all coaches who request a listing. PACE Certification is a separate credential that verifies you've completed the PACE training program. Certified coaches get a verified badge on their directory listing.
Can I apply for certification if I coach at a high school or college?
Absolutely. PACE Certification is designed for club, high school, and college coaches at all levels. The program content is relevant across all competitive environments.
